
3D ENVIRONMENT - THE LOFT
First Environment modeling work based on Elena Kononenko's concept art. One of my major projects for my studies at 3dsense, which I have enjoyed the process, despite the amount of work I had to do. I have learnt quite a number of techniques from the various unique assets that I had to create for the scene, and also fiddled a little with Unreal Engine to get the books to have random colours and spider webs to flutter. Texturing was the most enjoyable part of the process, along with setting up and lighting the scene in Unreal Engine.
This project was also used for our VR module where I created custom collision for the major assets and attempted basic scripting of event triggers for assets like the candles and djembe.
